Samir Foundation is committed to advancing medical education in Gaza and empowering the students with the practical skills they need to excel in their future careers. As part of these efforts, we recently conducted the Basic Suturing Skills Course for medical students, led by a highly skilled medical team.
This hands-on training program focused on teaching precise suturing techniques, enabling students to gain confidence and competence in clinical practice. By providing a comprehensive and supportive learning environment, we aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The training sessions include supervised practice, clinical scenarios, and access to professional surgical kits. The project also reflects the Foundation’s broader mission to strengthen local capacity, support medical resilience, and uphold the right to quality healthcare for all.
Despite the challenges facing the healthcare sector in Gaza, we remain dedicated to equipping our future doctors with the tools and expertise necessary for professional medical practice. Together, we strive to build a stronger, more resilient healthcare system for our community.
