Samir Foundation Partners with Smile Givers International and Wear the Peace to Launch a New Medical Hub in Southern Gaza

A New Step Toward Sustaining Support for Healthcare and Medical Students in Gaza

The Samir Foundation continues to expand its commitment to the healthcare sector and medical students in the Gaza Strip with an important new milestone. In the presence of its administrative board, the foundation has signed a partnership and cooperation agreement with Smile Givers International and Wear the Peace to launch a new Medical Hub in the southern Gaza Strip. This agreement represents a significant step in the foundation’s broader strategy to build sustainable, on-the-ground infrastructure that directly serves the needs of students pursuing medical education amid extraordinarily difficult conditions.

This new initiative builds on the proven success of the foundation’s first Medical Hub, established in Gaza City, which has already demonstrated the powerful impact that a dedicated, well-equipped educational space can have on students’ ability to continue their studies. Encouraged by that achievement, the Samir Foundation is now extending this model to the southern part of the Strip, working hand in hand with Smile Givers International and Wear the Peace to bring the same level of support to students in that region. The partnership reflects a shared belief among all three organizations that access to a stable, functional learning environment is not a luxury, but a fundamental necessity for educational continuity.

At its core, this new Medical Hub is designed to provide a safe and supportive educational environment equipped with essential services such as electricity and internet access, resources that have become increasingly scarce, yet are indispensable for students striving to pursue their university education. By addressing these basic but critical needs, the Samir Foundation and its partners aim to remove some of the most pressing obstacles standing between medical students and their academic success. The foundation looks forward to seeing this new hub come to life and remains deeply grateful to Smile Givers International and Wear the Peace for joining forces in this vital mission.
