Samir Foundation Launches a New Batch of the Pocket Money Project to Support Medical Students in Gaza
Continuing its unwavering commitment to supporting medical students in Gaza, the Samir Foundation proudly announces the launch of a new batch of the Pocket Money Project in collaboration with Human Concern International (HCI). This initiative is dedicated to easing the financial burdens faced by clinical-level medical students at Al-Azhar University and the Islamic University, ensuring they have the means to continue their education and contribute to the future of Gaza’s healthcare system.
Medical students in Gaza face immense challenges, including financial hardships, lack of resources, and the difficulties of pursuing education in crisis conditions. By providing essential financial aid, the Pocket Money Project allows students to cover daily expenses, transportation costs, and academic necessities, enabling them to focus on their studies without additional stress.
“At Samir Foundation, we believe that the future of medicine deserves every effort,” said Ezz Lulu, President of the Samir Foundation. “Our commitment to these students goes beyond financial assistance—we are investing in the healthcare leaders of tomorrow who will rebuild and strengthen Gaza’s medical sector.”
The launch of this new batch reflects Samir Foundation’s ongoing dedication to standing by medical students at every stage of their journey. With continued support from generous donors and humanitarian partners, the foundation remains steadfast in its mission to ensure that financial obstacles do not stand in the way of education and progress.
Giving never stops, and together, we can shape a healthier future for Gaza.
