A Collaborative Effort for Critical Training
In partnership with Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, the Samir Foundation has successfully launched the first BTLS course in northern Gaza. This groundbreaking initiative aims to equip medical students with the crucial skills needed to assess and manage trauma injuries effectively.
Focusing on Life-Saving Techniques
The BTLS course covers vital topics such as the assessment and management of abdominal and pelvic trauma, which are critical in preventing life-threatening complications. The training includes hands-on sessions to ensure that students gain practical experience in dealing with real-life emergencies.
Resilience Amidst Destruction
The ongoing conflict and destruction in Gaza have posed significant challenges, but our commitment to supporting medical education remains steadfast. The dedication and bravery of our medical students, who continue to learn and serve in such difficult circumstances, are a source of inspiration for us all.
Honoring Our Heroes
At the conclusion of the course, Dr. Hani Al-Qadi and Dr. Osama Hamed from the Jordanian delegation, who led the training sessions, were honored by Ezz Lulu, President of the Samir Foundation. Their selfless contributions and willingness to leave their homeland to support their colleagues and the people of Gaza were deeply appreciated.
